This qualification is to guide and assess the development of knowledge and skills relating to the health and social care workforce. Level 2 Diploma in Care (3095‐21) awarded by City and Guilds. Do you want to enhance you career in care? Do you want to develop your skills to meet and go beyond the national standards set by Skills for Care?
If so, and you speak and write English to a GCSE standard this course is for you. You will need to work through each of the modules and complete the short assignment for each. In some modules you will need to write about your competency and verify this by a manager or assessor in your workplace who is competent to do so. If you cant get access to an assessor, we will provide one for you to support you to complete your qualification.
You can receive the qualification as quickly as you complete the short assignments to the standards required.
Once you have registered onto the course you will;
Gain access to the learning material on the HARPAR LMS via a username and password emailed to you
Will be contracted by your personal mentor to support you through the qualification
Will have access to the assignments to complete and availability to upload your assignments onto the LMS portal for marking and feedback
Gain access to the up to date learning material to support you to work through the qualification.

The Level 2 Diploma in Care is a competence based qualification which has been developed with Skills for Care, Skills for Health and in consultation with employers who provide adult care and health services. Designed to support the on-programme element of the Adult Care Worker apprenticeship standard in England, the qualification is mandatory within the adult care worker standard and covers the knowledge and skills required to work in an adult care worker role in a range of settings, supporting individuals with different needs. In addition the qualification could be used as an option to support delivery of the on-programme element of the Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship standard, though it IS NOT a mandatory component of the healthcare support worker apprenticeship.
It is anticipated that learners will progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF), or to specialist qualifications reflecting the context in which they work.
