The qualification aims to develop learners’ skills and knowledge in leadership and management to ensure that services can respond fully to the needs and aspirations of those that use their provision. It also contains Skills for Care’s minimum requirements for developing and confirming the competence of those who are working within adult care services in England as managers. This qualification will support the new Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship standard
